Patsy Swayze, the mother of late actor Patrick Swayze, passed away Monday night at her home in California. Also a choreographer and dance instructor, she was 86 years old.
The Associated Press reported Patsy's death, though no cause was given.
Swayze taught dance at the University of Houston for 18 years and also served as a choreographer for the Houston Playhouse Center and the Houston Youth Symphony and Ballet Company.
Swayze's passing took place just two days after the fourth anniversary of her son's death. Her husband, Jesse, died in 1982 and her daughter,
