Perri "Pebbles" Reid, the former manager of TLC, found herself cast in the role of the villain in the recent VH1 biopic CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.
The R&B trio's manager, and former artist, is speaking out, insisting she is not the ruthless, morally bankrupt music executive she was depicted as.
One particular point she is focused on? The alleged affair between a certain member of TLC and Pebbles' ex-husband, music executive L.A. Reid.
Pebbles admitted to Wendy Williams that she never caught the two:
"Let me explain something to you, I would've caught a case, had I seen something like that back then. That didn't happen. That didn't happen!"
However, she strongly believes Chilli was sleeping with L.A. Reid:
"Absolutely. I didn't know. I suspected a couple of things, but I didn't want to believe that. And for years, I didn't want to believe that," she laments.
"I felt that [the TLC crew] they were daughters to me."
"I am going to write my book and put it in there [why I believe Chilli was sleeping with L.A.], but believe me when I say, I saw a couple of things."
On if band members Left Eye and T-Boz knew:
"I believe so."
