A female senior at Clements High School in Alabama will likely face some kind of disciplinary action after posing an unusual selfie on Instagram.
It features her and a cadaver.
The student, whose name has been withheld, turned the camera on herself during a visit to the UAB biology department to learn about the university's anatomical donor program.
The student deleted the controversial image from her account, but a classmate took a screen shot of it and showed it to her inter, who contact school officials.
"[The university is] understandably upset with this incident and we want to preserve our relationship," said Karen Tucker, Limestone County School Board Director of Public Relations and Technology, said. "We are in the process of deciding on the discipline that will occur."
