Octomom Nadya Suleman has copped a plea in her welfare fraud case that will keep her out of jail. All felony charges against her were dropped as a result.

Nadya Suleman was facing three felony counts of welfare fraud for misrepresenting her income and taking advantage of public assistance as a result.
Because she has a staggering 14 mouths to feed, Octo qualifies for welfare even if she makes well into the six figures, which she did the last two years.
However, she continued to claim benefits even after she exceeded the threshold, and got into deep trouble after an investigation was launched.
Specifically, she did not disclose over $25,000 she made from the infamous Octomom porn slash sex tape slash solo masturbation pleasure fest.
She's off the hook now, though, and here's how:
- Nads pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor welfare fraud charge.
- Octomom paid back $9,805 to Medi-Cal and $16,481 to the L.A. County Dept. of Public Social Services, the groups she defrauded.
- She must perform 200 hours of community service.
- She has been placed on 2 years probation.
It's common practice for first time welfare fraud offenders to have felony charges reduced if the money is repaid in short order, so she didn't get any special favors.

Suleman, who was married from 1996 to 2008, has never publicly identified the father of any of her children, but says it's not her ex. BTW she has 14 kids. Yes, she had SIX BEFORE the octuplets.
