The supermarket tabloid has come out and actually admitted a mistake it made, issuing a statement today in regard to a story it ran about Kendall Jenner.
On Wednesday, the magazine quoted Kendall as being in full support of the Bruce Jenner sex change .

Approached by a reporter at the Justin Bieber Comedy Central Roast taping, Jenner supposedly said of her father:

Despite these being very positive and encouraging words, Kendall later came out and made a correction: she never said them!
And now Us Weekly has admitted it didn't exactly fact check this story as well as it could have.
Editors wrote today that the quotes were given to them by a freelancer, and that this freelancer sticks his report, but:
"After attempting to reconfirm his account, editors of Us have concerns about the veracity of this interview and the circumstances under which it was obtained.
"We would like to retract the story entirely and have removed it from our website. We sincerely apologize to Ms. Jenner and her family."
Kendall is yet to address the publication's statement.
But considering she probably does feel about Bruce Jenner the way these quotes made it sound like... no real harm has been done.
