Lea Michele may have been forced to say goodbye to Glee this year after a strong six-season run.
But the actress is more grateful than ever today that she said hello to Matthew Paetz in April of 2015.
Paetz and Michelle have not yet been dating for a year, but they did meet one year ago this weekend, an occasion Michele celebrated yesterday on Instagram.
"Dinner last night with these lovely folks! Celebrating one year since @hannahluxdavis directed me in my video On My Way! #TimeFlies #BestFriends ," Michele wrote online Sunday.
Of course, Michele also met Paetz on the set of that video, a fact later acknowledged by Michele when she added the above picture and joked:
"This guys pretty great too..."
Michele and Paetz now live together, with an insider telling E! News that Matthew treats Lea "like a queen."
Prior to dating her new man, of course, Michele was in a long-term relationship with Cory Monteith. They were together when he tragically passed away from a heroin overdose.
Michele and Paetz, meanwhile, went public in October with a sweet Instagram photo of the coupel holding hands on the beach.
