Lady Gaga is ready to take the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards stage for her first live performance since undergoing hip surgery in February.
At the August 25 show, Gaga will be performing her new yet-to-be-named single, which is due out August 19, off her highly anticipated album ARTPOP.
Gaga is no stranger to the VMA stage, where she's appeared in:
- A gory, murder-simulating rendition of "Paparazzi" in 2009
- A meat dress, one of her top fashion moments, in 2010
- Drag, as her male alter ego "Jo Calderone" in 2011
