Ted Nugent takes exception to Stevie Wonder's proposed boycott of Florida due to the recent George Zimmerman verdict ... to put things mildly.
The rocker, who previously lauded the jury's decision and what he called the true lesson of the verdict, says he finds Wonder's idea "brain-dead."
"You've got to be kidding me," he said.
Nugent's argument is two-fold:
- Zimmerman acted in self-defense and did absolutely nothing wrong.
- People single out Martin yet neglect countless, real murder victims.
"So 700 black people, mostly young children and young people were slaughtered in Chicago last year by black people, and not a peep out of Stevie Wonder."
"Are you kidding me? What is this, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?" he went on. "How brain-dead do you have to be? How strangled by denial, how dishonest?"
"How cheap do you have to be to focus on a clear-cut case where all the evidence, from the DOJ, the FBI, the army of investigative specialists in Florida determined that George Zimmerman acted in self-defense against a life-threatening attack by hoodlum, dope-smoking Trayvon Martin?"
Never can you accuse Ted of having a filter ... for better or worse.
Nugent said he prays for "Stevie Wonder and all these other numbnuts who think Trayvon Martin's life is more important than tens of thousands of slaughtered blacks at the hands of blacks."
