Jennifer Garner, 41, looks beautiful and forever young on the cover of Allure, yet she talks as if she's been around forever and is totally washed up.
In explaining why she and Oscar-winning husband Ben Affleck don't work together, she says she doubts people want to see them as a duo on screen.
"People see paparazzi shots of us all the time," the woman Allure dubs the "Action Babe Next Door" says. "There's no mystery. People are sick of us."
America is sick of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner? This is the first we've heard of it. Still, she's careful not to attend every Hollywood event with him.
"It's a very conscious decision," she says. "Sometimes it's a pain because my heels are so high, it would be nice to have his arm. And he's such a great date!
"But it can be too much," says the actress, a bona fide star in her own right. "Especially for women, they can really lose their identity and just become 'wife of.'"
Inside Allure, Garner also confirms that she doesn't do Botox, color her hair or have any tattoos. "Oh, my gosh, no! Garner girls don't have tattoos."
Whatever she's doing, it's clearly working out!
