Lady Gaga's single "Applause" has been released in its entirety following the unauthorized leak of several snippets over the weekend that left her incensed.
Gaga issued a "pop music emergency" alert on Twitter Monday announcing the single, originally set to drop August 19, would instead be available now.

"A pop music emergency is underway 911 … summon the monster troupes," she wrote Monday before revealing the true nature of the emergency.
"Due to hackers an abundance of low/high quality leaks … we issue this pop music emergency … monsters spread the word," Lady Gaga tweeted.
"My new single 'Applause' is out today and can be heard on [U.S.] radio in 15 minutes."
When the song, which is her first single off the highly anticipated album ARTPOP, first leaked, Gaga was not happy, ranting on Twitter at length.
She also made light of it, referencing the similar Katy Perry "Roar" leak and suggesting that they should "grab some shovels and f--- up some hackers."
Instead of causing physical harm to anyone, Gaga has decided to demonstrate her celebrity status and support by releasing the single one week early.
She's also trying to take the fight to the hackers and leakers.
The singer and her Little Monsters shared a link created by her record label, Universal Music, for people to report unauthorized distribution of content.
She and 2,500 others re-tweeted this call to arms from a fan:
