According to a couple new reports, Robert Pattinson likes to put things up his nose.

First, a tabloid actually claims the actor recently went on a cocaine bender.

And now the star himself has admitted that he likes the scent of people, telling Portuguese magazine Activa that he likes "the smell of people."

"It is really strange and I'm sure it has to do with pheromones," Pattinson explained. "We like people because subconsciously we like the way they smell. I always find this very interesting to observe."

So we're guessing Dylan Penn smells like sunshine and roses.

However, Rob is looking for more than just a sweet scent when it comes to the opposite sex.

In a different recent interview, he told Harper's Bazaar Arabia that there's another attribute high on his list of appealing traits: self-confidence.

"Someone knowing who they are, it's the best," Pattinson told that publication this summer, adding: "If someone looks good in their clothes, it's because they are comfortable in their own skin. It's literally just like owning it. Oh no! That is so lame, I feel like I am on Project Runway saying 'own that'"
