As previously reported, The Bachelor's Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici have set a wedding date, and for the FIRST TIME IN BACHELOR HISTORY, it will take place LIVE!
"Hopefully everything goes smoothly," said Sean Lowe on GMA. "The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us."
"They're invested in our relationship," the star added. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."
Bride-to-be Catherine Giudici said that despite the unusual live TV setting, they want a traditional ceremony, followed by an over-the-top reception.
"I know that it's going to be a beautiful wedding," she said. "We want a traditional type of ceremony that just unifies us and then have a big party afterwards."
"I just want it to be fun and really show our love."
The 27-year-old graphic designer from Seattle added that her former Bachelor competitor Lesley Murphy will be among her 12 (yes, twelve) bridesmaids.
Several others will be added to the wedding guest list ... depending on who ABC wants the cameras to see in the audience. You know how they do.
Currently living apart, due to his born-again virgin status, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are house hunting in Dallas and look forward to living together.
Only a handful of the franchise's couples have made it to the altar:
- Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (The Bachelorette, Season 7)
- Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney (The Bachelor, Season 13)
- Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter (The Bachelorette, Season 1)
Yes ... 2/8 on The Bachelorette and 1/17 on The Bachelor, with Sean set to make it 2/17.
