Miranda Lambert turned heads at the 2013 CMA Awards with a noticeably thinner figure. Which, inevitably, sparked more rumors as to what prompted the slimming-down.
According to a so-called "spy" for Star, it's all about Blake Shelton.
"Miranda felt like she didn't look good enough for Blake," says the alleged insider, "and wanted to become as hot as possible so he wouldn't be tempted to cheat."
Somewhere, The Voice coach is having a field day over this one.
The marriage of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert has been great tabloid fodder this year, which he says he "loves" for the laughs and the exposure.
As for a second catalyst spurring her to shed the extra pounds?
Star's report, furthermore, alleges that Lambert is "jealous of Christina Aguilera's sexy slim down," and was motivated by Xtina's efforts to lose weight.
"Miranda is very insecure of Blake's friendship with Christina on The Voice," the insider says of the alleged rivalry, "so that helped motivate her to get thin."
"Her ultimate goal is to look better than Christina."

While it makes for great celebrity gossip, there's never been any hint of jealousy between Lambert and Aguilera, both of whom lost weight ... just to do it.
If there's any tie between Miranda and Christina, it's a lot less interesting. Both acclaimed singers have said they wanted to look and feel healthier.
Not tabloid material, but a worthy goal.
