Tori Spelling won't publicly comment on reports that Dean McDermott cheated on her, but insiders say she believes the rumors, and is making him PAY.
A 28-year-old Canadian woman, Emily Goodhand, claims she bedded McDermott at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto earlier this month.
He was in Canada for his gig with Chopped Canada. In its new cover story, Us Weekly quotes Goodhand's account of her alleged tryst with Dean.
In the aftermath of the breaking story, Tori Spelling put on a good front, posting a cheerful family Christmas photo and message to fans. But privately?
A source close to Spelling says it's not what it appears, as "Tori is obsessed with having a picture perfect family, and thinks it's a big part of her image."
"It's all a calculated plan on Tori's part. She is refusing to comment on the cheating rumors publicly, even though she believes Dean did cheat on her."
"Commenting or addressing the cheating would taint that image. Things are very tense in the house right now, and Tori is making Dean's life hell."
"Even though she triesnot to fight in front of the kids, it's impossible. She's been crying and screaming at Dean, saying he ruined everything, including Christmas."
"Sadly, Liam and Stella know their parents are fighting and it's only a matter of time until they find out why. Dean even offered to move out, but Tori wouldn't allow it."
"It's a very unhealthy environment, and the kids are being impacted by it."
Emily Goodhand told Us that McDermott, 47, who's been married to Spelling, 40, for seven years, lamented the "sexless marriage" he has with his wife.
This despite four kids in six years and a Tori Spelling sex tape. You know they've been intimate at least five times ... but still. He allegedly stepped out.
Goodhand says she slept over in McDermott's room both nights he stayed in Toronto after meeting him through friends, and that they had sex.
Us ran the story on its cover this week, and Tori is understandably livid, even if her special message this week contained nary a mention of all this.
"I wanted to take a minute to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas," she wrote along with a picture of her four kids with McDermott.
"As another year comes to a close, I can't help but feel so grateful for all of my blessings. My beautiful family, my amazing friends, and of course, all of you!"
McDermott was formerly married to Canadian actress Mary Jo Eustace before leaving her for Spelling, and deep down, Tori feared he'd cheat on her too.
"She's always been very insecure about her relationship with Dean," says the insider. "She has been telling friends she always had a deep, dark feeling."
