A sewage pipe broke prior to the 71st annual Golden Globes last night, flooding the red carpet.
But you know what really stunk at the event? E!'s ridiculous pre-show coverage... and we're not talking about the Mani Cam for a change.
Running through various Fun Facts about nominees throughout the evening, the network honed in on Best Comedy Actor nominee Michael J. Fox and actually wrote:
Michael J. Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1991.
Following some understandable backlash from viewers, producers issued an apology via a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
"We regret the insensitive classification of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's diagnosis during our live stream. We understand the serious nature of the disease and sincerely apologize."
