In snippets released from her interview on Oprah: Where Are They Now - which airs Friday at 8 p.m. on OWN - Tamera Mowry breaks down while recalling the awful insults she's heard since marrying Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in 2011.
"People choose to look past love and spew hate," the former sitcom star says of reaction to her interracial union. "That's what hurts me, because I've never experienced so much hate ever in my life, ever."
Mowry says she's been referred to as a "white man's whore" and that someone actually said to her once: "Back in the day, you cost $300, but now, you're giving it away for free."
The actress, who was a 29-year old virgin until sleeping with Housely, adds that she simply can't relate to this mindset because she comes from a biracial household.
However, although the insults are painful, Mowry is doing all she can to remain strong and positive.
