Most of his fans may not be old enough to drink, but Zayn Malik has a good reason to raise a glass of champagne and give himself a toast today:
The One Direction singer is 21 years old!
Malik, of course tried out for The X Factor in Great Britain before being added to the now-famous group by judge Simon Cowell.
He made big news in 2013 both for his music and also for his personal love, announcing an engagement to Perrie Edwards in August.
Zayn also covered multiple magazines over the past year, from GQ to Vogue to Glamour. He shared the latter with Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
In other words: the guy has a pretty good life.
So send in your happiest birthday wishes to Malik today and then do the same for the following celebrities who are also a year older on January 12:
