Jimmy Fallon is having nightmares about leaving Late Night for the Tonight Show, which he will do this year, and who better to help with that than the Full House cast.
In a skit on last night's show, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Uncles Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (Dave Coulier) visited the anxious, insomniac host.
As Jimmy tosses and turns in bed (what looks like Michelle Tanner's old bed, in fact) calling out "Dad, Dad," the trio appears and the hair jokes follow:
All kidding aside, there's a life lesson in all of this. Not unlike so many we learned over the years from Danny, Jesse and Joey in their child-rearing heyday.
"I guess I'll just miss Late Night. I've been doing this for five years," Fallon says. "There have been so many special moments and so many great musical guests."
But, as Danny reminds him, it's okay. It's normal to feel sad. But think about it this way: He can make new, special memories at The Tonight Show, too.
Then they all sing the Teddy Bear song, and all is right with the world.
For more from the venerable Full House trio ... tune into the Super Bowl this Sunday night! They're going to be in an ad together, which you can watch below:
