Despite being charged with three felony counts of welfare fraud, Nadya Suleman is still receiving fiscal assistance from the government, a new report says.
"Nadya applied for welfare in Orange County when she moved last year ... she is currently receiving at least $2,000 in benefits monthly," a source said.
Still.
Radar reports that the criminal charges alleging that she illegally collected more welfare than her allotted level haven't stopped her from doing so.
Octomom is capped at pocketing $119,000 in a calendar year (due to the fact that she has 14 dependents, she can collect that robust sum in public aid).
Financial records showed she took home $150,248.77 in 2012, then failed to report $30,000 in earnings while raking in public assistance in 2013.
The single mom had been collecting welfare in Los Angeles County, then moved to Orange County, and continued collecting government assistance.
Says a Nadya Suleman insider of her financial and legal situation:
1. Who's Your Daddy?
Suleman, who was married from 1996 to 2008, has never publicly identified the father of any of her children, but says it's not her ex. BTW she has 14 kids. Yes, she had SIX BEFORE the octuplets.
2. She's a Porn Star, and an Award-Winning One at That
Suleman's "Octomom Home Alone" won the 2013 AVN Award for Best Celebrity Sex Tape. That's like an Oscar for porn.
3. She's Very Religious
At least based on the Biblical names for all eight of her octuplets: Noah, Jonah, Jeremiah, Josiah, Isaiah, Makai, Nariyah and Maliyah. All have the same middle name, Angel. Suleman also chose to spell their last names Solomon.
4. She Attempted to Record Music
Octomom actually recorded this single, called "Sexy Party." Listen at your own risk ... and only to laugh, because the auto-tuned mess is beyond terrible.
5. She's on Welfare ... and Shouldn't Be
Nadya was receiving welfare checks while earning well over the treshold required to receive public assistance, an investigation found, and she was arrested in January 2014.
6. She Throws Down
Suleman launched a short-lived boxing career in 2011, explaining she was stepping into the ring with a string of D-List celebrities because she was broke.
7. The Doctor Who Did This is No Longer a Doctor
All 14 of Suleman's children were born through IVF treatments provided by Beverly Hills physician Dr. Michael Kamrava. The California Medical Board revoked his license, citing gross negligence.
8. She Takes it All Off For Money
While she doesn't like men touching her (for real) when it comes to making babies or making porn, Octomom will take her clothes off for cash at a moment's notice. In addition to her self-pleasure video, she's done strip club gigs and posed naked in magazines.
"She hasn't had steady employment and relies on welfare to pay her bills. There is no indication at this point that she is under any scrutiny in Orange County."
All while doing relatively well in her "career" pursuits, if you can call it that, grossing $33,256.77 from her Octomom porn "self-pleasure" film alone.
The 37-year-old also received $58,680 from an Encino, Calif.-based media organization, while another firm forked over $57,499.00 for her services.
Those three sources of income alone pushed Octo well over the limit.
Suleman pleaded not guilty to welfare fraud charges earlier this month, and the DA hopes to reach a settlement
