Four individuals suspected of having a connection to drugs found in the late Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartment have been arrested, reports indicate.
Days after Hoffman was found dead of an apparent drug overdose law-enforcement officials busted four people believed to have supplied the heroin.
Robert Vineberg, 57, Thomas Kushman, 48, were arrested for felony drug possession. Max Rosenblum and Juliana Luchkiw, 22, were hit with misdemeanor possession.
Vineberg, a musician a.k.a. Robert Aaron, who has accompanied Wyclef Jean and Tom Jones, replied "No, I did not," when asked if he sold Hoffman heroin.
The foursome was reportedly arrested in a Chinatown apartment on Mott Street in NYC, according to the New York Post, after police received a tip.
The reported 65 bags of heroin (and 350 glassine envelopes) found in Hoffman's apartment were believed to have originated from the Chinatown building.
Sunday morning, Hoffman's body was found lying on the bathroom floor of his New York City apartment, the victim of an apparent drug overdose.
A police source confirmed hat Hoffman, 46, had a syringe in his arm and that multiple clear envelopes of what appeared to be heroin were found nearby.
The nature of his death has sparked not only a sweeping police investigation, but a great debate among his peers as well as mourning for the acting great.
Jared Padalecki of Supernatural raised eyebrows when he said Philip's death is not a tragedy, while Demi Lovato countered that addiction is a disease.
