Belle Knox, a.k.a. Miriam Weeks, a.k.a. the Duke Porn Star, is making the most of her notoriety since being outed as the most popular college freshman ever.
While she tried to keep her identity as Miriam Weeks concealed at first, she went public under a porn alias (Belle Knox) and later revealed her real name too.
In a series of interviews, she's defended her decision to do porn as a means of paying for college, while expanding her career in the adult industry.
Case in point? Her stripping debut at a club in New York City last night:

"I'm nervous, but I think it'll be really empowering."
That was a theme she echoed in an interview earlier this week, when insisted she's a feminist and not a slut who needs to be shamed for her actions.
No word how the parents of Miriam Weeks feel about that statement, but the teen who became Belle Knox seems more or less content with her choices.
As for her choice of song at the club last night?
"I chose the song 'Cherry Pie.' It's young, it's cute, it's fun to dance to. I'm still shocked that I have fans. I few months ago, I was like a normal girl."
Knox's routine lasted for five minutes, which is a lot longer than a lot of her "fans" last in other settings, at the HeadQuarters club in Manhattan.
She said she unfortunately didn't really have time to prepare ahead of time but studied other strippers on YouTube. Beats studying for Econ 101?
