Up-and-coming rapper Rich Homie Quan has been hospitalized after suffering two seizures while filming a music video yesterday.
According to TMZ, Quan was taken to an Atlanta hospital after the first seizure, during which he reportedly suffered minor head injuries.
A second seizure followed closely after, but Quan is now "resting comfortably" and recovering in the hospital, according to his publicist.
Quan - real name Dequantes Lamar - first gained national attention for his 2013 hit "Type of Way." He has since been featured on tracks by rappers such as Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz.
Quan has reportedly been recording and performing non-stop since rising to fame last year.
Sources close to the rapper say his hectic work schedule resulted in exhaustion which caused the twin seizures.
This is not the first time the world of hip hop and R&B has been shocked to learn of a young star's seizure disorder.
Chris Brown had a seizure in 2013 and recovered fully.
