The Young Money Entertainment crew is sticking up for Justin Bieber.
Speaking on behalf of his company, President Mack Maine tells TMZ that he's viewed the Justin Bieber N Word video - along with the footage of Bieber referencing the KKK - and that he has no hard feelings against the artist.
"Bieber does not have a slave mentality. He treats his people with respect," Maine says.
Maine goes on to say Bieber has "legitimately adopted the culture of the hip hop, African American culture," that his actions speak a lot louder than these immature words.
Bieber has apologized twice this week for the two videos, both of which were filmed when he was a young teenager.
Most recently, he quoted the bible and admitted to some past sins.
Mack Maine says everyone in the Young Money camp (himself, Lil Wayne, Birdman) believes Bieber's age at the time of these verbal snafus is important to consider.
"I remember telling a white man, Chinese man, Black man joke as a kid that was terrible and I told it to my friends because I thought they'd think it was funny," Maine admits.
As a result, Young Money will continue to collaborate with Bieber.
