As you've probably heard by now, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married last week in a secret ceremony at their French chateau.
It was widely reported that Brad and Angie honeymooned in Malta, where they're filming a movie together. Now, however, it seems that Mrs. Jolie-Pitt headed to Malta by herself, while Brad spent most of the last week in NYC.
So what could drag Brad away from his new wife so soon after tying the knot? Well, apparently all it took was a chance to shoot a commercial for a resort and casino chain.
Granted, said commercial will be directed by Martin Scorsese and feature co-stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Deniro, but still...couldn't Brad have asked them to reschedule the shoot? He does have some mild clout in Hollywood.
The commercial - or "short film" as it's described in the press release - will serve as an expensive, star studded plug for the Melco-Crown chain of vacation spots.
So basically Brad and the other A-listers involved got mega-paid and can probably stay in the resorts for free for the rest of their lives - a perk that Brad may have to take advantage of if he continues to bail on his wife for lame job opportunities.
Sure beats sleeping on the couch!
