Hey, some good news for NBC!
With Matt Lauer under siege and pretty much all its primetime fare tanking in the ratings, reporters Jenna Wolfe and Stephanie Gosk have at least come out and gone public with their relationship, telling People they are together, in love - and expecting a baby!
"This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened to us," says Wolfe, the Today weekend anchor who is pregnant. "But I don't want to bring my daughter into a world where I'm not comfortable telling everyone who I am and who her mother is."
Gosk works as a correspondent for NBC News. She and Wolfe have been an item for three years and started discussing plans for a family last year.
Will they get married? At some point.
But excitement over the baby trumps all at the moment.
"W can't wait to start," says Wolfe. "Stephanie keeps saying, 'Hurry up! What's taking so long?' And I'm like, '[The baby's] cooking!'"
The couple, of course, has come out of the closet just as Prop 8 in California has
