Kevin Smith has completed the script for Clerks 3!
The writer/director posted a picture of the script on Instagram, along with a description:
"IT IS ACCOMPLISHED! First draft of CLERKS III is 137 pages. Plays like the EMPIRE STRIKES BACK of the Clerks trilogy."
Smith originally planned to crowdfund the film on Kickstarter, but after the recent Zach Braff backlash, has scrapped that idea.
Clerks 3 will be Smith's final film, as the filmmaker plans to retire after its completion.
He does, however, have a TV miniseries in the works: the hockey-themed Hit Somebody
