Hidden and bleeding inside a boat before his April 19 capture, Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev reportedly scrawled a note on the wall.
He admitted to the April 15 attack and hinted at his motive, implying that what he did was in retaliation for American actions against Muslims.
"When you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims," read the suspect's note, scrawled with a marker on the wall of the boat's cabin, CBS News reports.
Dzhokhar, 19, reportedly said he would not miss his slain older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, because he would soon join him as a martyr in paradise.
The note, which is "certainly admissible" as evidence at trial, referred to the Boston victims as "collateral damage" in retribution for U.S. military action.
Tsarnaev, who is now being held in a federal prison hospital in Massachusetts, was reportedly incensed by the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
He's charged with using weapons of mass destruction when two bombs exploded near the Marathon's finish line, killing three people and injuring 264.
