Titus Young Arrested For Third Time in a Week May 13th 2013, 11:40 Titus Young has been arrested. Again. For the third time in one week. The former Detroit Lions wide receiver, who was booked twice over the course of 24 hours last weekend, was taken into custody Friday on charges of attempted burglary, assault of a police officer and resisting arrest. He remains in jail at the moment and a hearing has been scheduled for either today or tomorrow. According to The Orange County Sheriff's office, a homeowner called the authorities on Friday and reported that Young was outside her residence. When police arrived on the scene, the ex-Boise State star tried to flee on foot. He was chased down and "punches were thrown" during a "brief altercation," said Lt. Joe Balicki. The deputies handcuffed Young and set bail at $75,000. As of yesterday afternoon, he remained behind bars. Young, a second round draft pick of the Lions in 2011, was cut from the team on February 4.
