When he's not busy getting arrested, George Zimmerman is honing his skills at painting, a hobby that's already proven lucrative for the former neighborhood watchman.
Zimmerman, who sold his first painting on eBay for $100,000 (seriously) is at it again, and his latest work zeroes in on a key figure in the Trayvon Martin case.
The woman who charged him with second-degree murder, Special Prosecutor Angela Corey, is shown in bright red and yellow, her fingers pinched.
The caption of George Zimmerman's new painting, in all caps, says it all:
"I have this much respect for the American judicial system - Angie C."
It's an artistic depiction of a much-reprinted photo of Corey from the news conference when she charged Zimmerman with the murder of Trayvon Martin.
Zimmerman's brother, Robert, Tweeted a photo, adding, "Very proud to introduce @TherealGeorgeZ 's latest..."Angie". Sale info & details available tomorrow."
Last month, the troubled Florida man listed his first original painting on eBay: An 18-by-24-inch canvas featuring a blue, waving American flag with the words:
"God, one nation, with liberty and justice for all"
The winning bid on it was $100,099.99. Really.
The item description for that painting read:
"Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experiences."
"My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors," he added ... and that's probably for the best, honestly.
Samantha Scheibe would no doubt agree.
In December, Florida prosecutors said they would not charge Zimmerman after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend in November resulted in his arrest.
Previously, he was stopped several times for speeding, and cops were also called after an incident between George and then-wife Shellie Zimmerman.
He keeps the police busy, that's for sure.
