The Great 8 has become the Heavenly 7.
Or has it?
Following an impressive performance show that saw the remaining American Idol contestants rehash original audition songs, viewers were left with a difficult decision on Thursday:
Who deserved to get voted out?
The answer came down to Sam Woolf, Malaya Watson and C.J. Harris, as this trio earned the lowest number of votes.
Ryan Seacrest then announced that Woolf would be going home, unless his latest version of "Babylon" would be enough to earn the judges' one save of Season 13.
And it was!
"We are unanimous. We're going to use the save tonight," J. Lo told the audience, as confetti fell and Woolf was mobbed by his fellow contestants.
On one hand, Woolf has to stick around because he's a white guy with a guitar, right? On the other, he's been in the Bottom 3 THREE times already. Isn't in clear America is not in love with the guy?
What do you think, fans? Did the judges make the right call in saving Sam Woolf?
