A new wrinkle has been added to the ongoing Bruce Jenner sex change rumors.
According to Star Magazine, the reality star has reached out to transgender rights advocate Renee Richards for advice on whether or not he ought to have gender reassignment surgery.
Richards, who was born a man, allegedly told Jenner this procedure is dangerous, explaining "it is not something to do unless you absolutely have no other choice."
But what if Jenner is truly struggling with his identity? What if he's going through depressing with a penis?
"She said someone should consider antidepressants first," the tabloid writes. "Because life could become an irreversible train-wreck if you're not completely certain about having the surgery."
Jenner has spoken very little to the press since splitting from Kris Jenner last June.
But chatter persists over his preferred gender due to his physical appearance and a procedure he underwent in February that reduced the size of his Adam's Apple.
The Jenners shocked celebrity gossip followers yesterday, however, when they walked through LAX while holding hands.
Could this mean they're back together?!? Or might Kris be helping her estranged husband quietly fight back against all this sex change talk.
Oh, Star also reports that Bruce has already picked out a female name in case he does have the surgery: Bridgitte.
