A night after the American Idol Top 6 performed double duty on stage, the Season 13 finalists were chopped down to five.
Following an impressive rock performance and an impressive country performance, most assumed Caleb Johnson would be safe on tonight's results show.
But everyone else had a reason for concern.
Except Grump Cat, who made another appearance. He looked happy to be there. As happy as Grumpy Cat can be, that is.
We quickly learn that both Sam Woolf and Caleb are safe. So is Jena.
So we're down to Jessica or C.J. as going home tonight and the votes are in and the eliminated finalist is...
C.J. HARRIS!
He leaves with his head held high, with J. Lo crying and with a version of "Can't You See."

Jena Irene could be your next American Idol champion. She has reached the round of 13.
