Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrate their third anniversary today. Yes, it's been three years since the magical Royal Wedding on April 29, 2011.
Three years since the whole world celebrated. Three years since the last (and possibly) only time Americans set their alarms for a British news story.
Three years since Pippa Middleton set the high water mark for bridesmaid show-stealing. Three years since the love story for the ages became official.

How are the royal couple themselves celebrating this special day? Resting.
They're parents, after all, of a nine-month-old baby boy. Gotta love it.
Unlike the rest of us, they're doubly exhausted after a three-week, multiple-appearances-a-day tour of Australia and New Zealand, which concluded Friday.
Not unlike the rest of us, they're content to spend the anniversary privately, catching up with the Middleton family and spending time with Prince George.
Sounds awfully nice to us.
The Daily Mail reports that William gave Kate a £3,600 Cartier watch shortly before they departed for New Zealand, which served as an "early anniversary present."
One that also helps her keep time in preparation for enhanced royal duties, conveniently, as Kate is known to socialize with everybody (which we love her for)
