Zac Efron on Rehab: It Changed My Life >>Hollywood

Diposting oleh blog on Rabu, 30 April 2014

Zac Efron is a changed man.

Don't worry, ladies, he's still a dreamboat.

But the actor opens up to The Hollywood Reporter this month and says he's grateful he went to rehab last year because because he's now "much more comfortable in my own skin."

Adds Efron: "Things are so much easier, [but] it's a never-ending struggle."

What landed the former High School Musical star in rehab to begin with?

"I was drinking a lot, way too much," he says. "It's never one specific thing. I mean, you're in your 20s, single, going through life in Hollywood, you know? Everything is thrown at you.

"I wouldn't take anything back; I needed to learn everything I did. But it was an interesting journey, to say the least."

Last month, meanwhile, the Neighbors star and his bodyguard got into a fight with a vagrant in a very bad Los Angeles neighborhood, prompting some to think Efron had fallen off the wagon.

Was this some kind of drug deal gone wrong?

No, Zac insists.

He claims his car really did run out of gas… and that he was waiting on a ride… and a homeless guy was carrying "some kind of knife" and he tapped on the glass... and got into it with his bodyguard... and...

"... at some point, he dropped the knife, and I got hit pretty hard in the face - and almost instantly the police were there to break up the fight."

The important thing here, of course, is that Efron remains clean and sober. And that he takes his shirt off as often as possible.
