Katy Perry covers the new issue of Cosmopolitan, marking the first time the iconic women's magazine has featured the same covergirl for all 62 of its foreign editions.
Quite an honor. But don't worry, being deemed the "Cosmo Global Icon" hasn't changed Katy one bit and the "Dark Horse" still enjoys dishing about her favorite topic: the men in her life.
In an interview conducted by Chelsea Handler, Katy makes remarkably candid comments about her divorce from Russell Brand and her breakup with John Mayer. News that Katy had been dumped by Diplo must not have been available at press time.
On her divorce: "It feels like a hundred lifetimes ago, so it's like digging up an old grave. A lot of therapy has happened and a lot of understanding and growth...In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."
On her breakup with Mayer: "I know it sounds really hippie-s--t, but I'm living in the now and not fantasizing about the future or being torn up about the past. I have a lot of respect for [Mayer] still, and I know it goes both ways. There's no bad blood, but I'm sure there will be inspired songs."
On the longest she's gone without sex: "Maybe six months or a year. I don't stay single for long. I'm not like Professor Higgins with my sex life. I'm not super strict. The most important thing about sex is connection."
So there you have it. The woman in the gallery below once went a full year without having sex. What a waste:
