The world saw two unexpected sides of Justin Bieber over the weekend:
- The racist side.
- The humble, apologetic side.
On Sunday morning, video of a 15-year old Bieber dropping the N Word and telling an off-color joke hit the Internet.
A short while later, Bieber apologized profusely, admitting that he made a few mistakes when he was young and didn't know the "power of certain words and how they can hurt."
Almost immediately after the scandal broke, meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather came out and defended his friend, despite their differences in skin color.
"We all make mistakes when we are young, it's part of growing up," the boxer said.
And now Soulja Boy has reiterated this sentiment.
The artist tells TMZ that Bieber was only 15 years old at the time of the incident; should not be held accountable for something that happened at such a young age; and, quite simply, is not racist.
Kenny Hamilton, meanwhile, a former African-America bodyguard for Bieber, also stands by the singer.
"As a black man I am telling the world that @justinbieber is not a racist." Tweeted Kenny. "I have known him since he was 12 years old and I know his heart."
This controversial case appears to be closed.
Justin Bieber posted this photo on "Instagram." He included with it a simple, one-word caption of "Night."
