In a match made in heaven, or at least Bachelor in Paradise (which may be the closest thing on Earth), Lacy Faddoul and Marcus Grodd are engaged!
Marcus, who thought he'd found his soulmate in Andi Dorfman, found true love with a cast member on Juan Pablo Galavis' season of The Bachelor, Lacy Faddoul.
All thanks to the spinoff Bachelor in Paradise, which was filmed in June and features other castoffs from the franchise. It will premiere on ABC August 4.
As The Bachelorette spoilers predicted, Grodd was an early favorite this season, and the first to tell Andi he loved her - even before Nick, Josh or Chris.
During the hometown dates, Grodd said Andi Dorfman was "everything" to him. "Andi is my soul mate. I feel it with her," he gushed. "I'm ready to propose."
That chance never came, as he was soon given the boot.
"I feel like an idiot," he said through tears. "I believed in something that wasn't there. The sad thing is, I'm still gonna miss her. I'm still in love with her."
Alas, that love went unfulfilled until Paradise, with Lacy!
Faddoul never even got past the first rose ceremony with Galavis, but hey, it got her onto a tropical island destination, where she met her life partner.
At least for the next couple of weeks. Congratulations!
