After 18 months of dating, it's over between Britney Spears and David Lucado.
TMZ reported today that Brit flipped out after learning that video of David cheating is being shopped around Hollywood.
The video was reportedly filmed in early August and shows Lucado dancing and making out with an unidentified woman.
When news of the video first broke, reps for Lucado issued a statement saying, "David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out."
Clearly it didn't. Britney posted a tweet earlier today reading, "Ahhhh the single life!"
The relationship had recently gotten so serious for that Spears and Lucado were rumored to be engaged.
She frequently posted photos of Lucado and her children, and he was reportedly something of a father figure to 8-year-old Sean and 7-year-old Jayden.
Rumors of trouble between Spears and David had been circulating for months, but the couple always cleared the air with social media posts in which they declared their love for one another.
Britney's father Jamie is reportedly preparing an official statement on the breakup.
Britney's last long-term relationship was with talent agent Jason Trawick. Spears and Trawick split in early 2013 for unknown reasons.
