Kendall. No Jenner. That's how Kendall Jenner wants to be referred to now as she aspires to join the upper echelon, the pantheon if you will, of one-named models.
Her modeling agency has already made the switch. The 18-year-old stunner will henceforth be known by just her first name alone. Bow down to Kendall!
The Society Management's website not only has Kendall Jenner mono-monikered on its homepage, but on her standalone portfolio page as well.
Other Society Management supermodels, including the likes of Liu Wen, Lindsey Wixson and Adriana Lima, continue to go by both names. Not Kendall.
She's trying to distance herself from her family, a sentiment she's expressed before; Kendall even said Keeping Up With the Kardashians has hurt her career.
"People think that [success] just came to me. But it didn't. What I have has almost worked against me," Jenner told LOVE magazine in a recent interview.
"I had to work even harder because people didn't take me seriously ... I went on castings and some people weren't feeling me because of my name."
"But it was great when people didn't recognize me," the often topless Kendall Jenner added. "I was like, 'Thank you. Please don't recognize me.'"
We sort of see her point ... and yet not.
Were it not for the E! show, she would have no connections in the industry, nor have the prolific and significant Instagram presence she has now.
That presence, in turn, has led to literally dozens of, notoriety-boosting and borderline inappropriate Kylie and Kendall Jenner photos like these.
