As you may know, Miley Cyrus' Instagram page is a magical place full of stoned ramblings and weird, Elvis-inspired art projects.
But while Miley definitely makes the photo-sharing site her own, she also participates in the all the popular web trends:
Woman Crush Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Freaky Franco Friday. (That's when you Photoshop yourself into a James Franco nude selfie. It's a thing; trust us.)
This week Miley's woman crush is none other than her former make-out partner Katy Perry. She posted a photo of the famed Miley-Katy kiss along with a caption that some have deemed offensive:
"Wcw is this slut @katyperry /tbt (not on t) to that time we made out during my bangerz tour"
Miley has since deleted the post, and it's not hard to see why. In addition to her problematic use of the word "slut," there's the fact that the caption was widely interpreted as a subtle shot at Perry.
You may remember that Katy pulled away from Miley's kiss and later remarked, "God knows where that tongue has been." Miley shot back with a comment about how Katy's "ex boo" (John Mayer) has basically stuck his tongue in anything with a pulse.
So yeah, it got ugly, and both singers tried to play it off like they were just kidding. So we may never know if this was Miley's attempt at a shout-out or if she was digging up an old beef, but either way, it was a typically audacious move from the Queen of Twerk.
