Seven months after pleading guilty to fraud, Teresa and Joe Giudice will go before a judge for sentencing today.
Sources say Teresa is confident she won't go to prison, but the Real Housewife could face up to 27 months behind bars.
Teresa will be allowed to plead her case one last time at her sentencing today, and rather than go into specifics regarding her case, she'll reportedly try to convince the judge that everything he's seen on Bravo is a lie, and she's actually a nice person.
"The image is little more than a carefully crafted fiction, engineered by Bravo through scripted lines and careful editing," reads a prepared statement obtained by TMZ.
We'll see how well Teresa remembers that scripted line. She certainly has a lot riding on the "I'm actually nice" defense: In addition to her own sentence, her husband Joe Giudice could be deported after serving up to four years in prison.
Teresa also plans to tell the judge that she's willing to pay back the money that she and her husband acquired through their con, and then some.
Finally, she'll close by promising to devote herself to charity work and caring for her four daughters if she's permitted to serve out her sentence at home, rather than behind bars.
We'll keep you updated on the outcome. In the meantime, watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey online and ask yourself if Teresa is really that good of an actress.
