On Nashville Season 3 Episode 1, we learned the identity of Rayna's fiance. She chose Luke to be her future husband.
On Nashville Season 3 Episode 2, meanwhile, we learned the identity of Juliette's baby daddy. It is... we're gonna make you wait for it.
We'll start instead with Will, who is psyched his album knocked Rayna from the top spot. But he's less psyched about having a depressed wife, as Layla is peeved her husband is gay and angry that she was duped into marriage.
After failing to land a role in the new Patsy Cline biopic - and after Jeff runs into Sadie Stone, maybe the next big thing - Layla lays into Will.
"You owe me everything. I own you," she says, ordering him to take her on tour and help get her career going… or else.
"I do not care about you. I hate you," she concludes. Well then.
Rayna is also having a bad day, largely due to Will's success and partly because reporters care more about Luke's proposal than in Highway 65's new digs.
The First Lady of Country Music is upset that she has never invited the public into her private life (as Will has with his reality show), but she's still had just about every album go platinum.
Times have changed, Bucky responds, telling her: "What got you here is not gonna be enough to keep you here."
No way we're building to some kind of Rayna reality show, are we? Or a Rayna sex tape?!? No.
Rayna agrees to add more tour dates to her schedule, so she won't be around for Daphne and Maddie as much as she has hoped. And then she does offer up a few personal nuggets when pressed by Good Morning America's Amy Robach.
Deacon is sad and getting yelled at by Maddie for not trying hard enough with Rayna. He's then learned that Luke won't let Deacon out of his contract, so he still must on tour with his hat-tipping rival. Tough times for the Deke.
Zoey hesitates about moving in with Gunnar because she's concerned over Scarlett's return to town. Things worse when she sees Scarlett and Gunnar in the recording studio.
But after forgetting some choreography, Zoey settles down and agrees to move in.
Finally, we get to Juliette, who fights with Avery over the stuff he left at her house.
We then cut to Juliette in the doctor's office, readying for an abortion. However, the state-mandated ultrasound indicates that she's nearly eight weeks along, not four like she thought. Uh-oh. Considering her terrible turtle tryst was a month earlier...
"This is not Jeff's," she cries, tears streaming down her face.
So, it's safe to assume the baby daddy is Avery, right? Right?!?
Ponder the possibilities and
