Today, Taylor shot back with a biting takedown of Murs' critique:
"I think frankly that's a very sexist angle to take. No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars. They're writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life and no one raises a red flag there."
Murs says he's reached out to Swift and apologized and there's no bad blood between them.
Looks like the days of the shrinking violet Taylor are over. Anyone who saw Swift's reaction to John Cleese dissing her cat knows that this is not a girl to be messed with.
