If not, you may want to read up on it, because that could be the most interesting part of the HBO series' second season.
Yes, True Detective Season 2 reviews are in, and saying they're mixed would be putting it kindly.
The show currently holds a semi-respectable 62% on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.
However, given the sky-high expectations following last year's acclaimed Matthew McConaughey-Woody Harrelson outing (The first season currently holds an 84%, and that's after the somewhat disappointing finale.), a mediocre cop drama is likely to equate to a big disappointment for HBO subscribers who are still coming down from the high of one of Game of Thrones' best seasons to date.
