Because the Deep-Fried Twinkie Burger isn't scary enough, and because the Taco Bell Waffle Taco may not kill you quickly enough, Little Caesars has gone ahead and upped the artery-clogging fast food ante.
By presenting a pepperoni pizza wrapped in many inches of bacon.
Called the Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, this monstrosity has eight corners and its crust is baked Detroit-style.
It is wrapped in thick-cut bacon and topped with both pepperoni and, yup, you guessed it, more bacon.
"Little Caesars focuses on giving customers new flavors and choices at a great value and with the sense of fun we're known for," Edward Gleich, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, said in a statement.
"With the new Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish we're pushing pizza to its bacon limits with more than three and a half feet of bacon wrapped around the crust alone. It's unabashedly delicious. That's why we like to say, 'In Bacon We Crust.'"
Okay, yes. That's a genius pun. In Bacon We Crust.
But did we read that correctly? THREE AND A HALF FEET OF BACON?
The Bacon Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish will be available for a limited time, starting on February 23.
It will cost $12, but that's not counting the medical bills one will incur after the heart attack one suffers from eating it.
