On the most superstitious of all superstitious days, we're here to make you feel better about the fact that you may avoid walking underneath some ladders today.
And that you may stay as far away as possible from black cats while knocking on every piece of wood you see and saying a prayer when the click turns a certain hour.
"If I walk onto an airplane, I always have to go on with my right foot first and tap the outside of the plane,†explains the beloved actress. “I have always done it. For luck."
Megan Fox opened up about her airplane superstitions to Conan O'Brien, saying she always listens to Britney Spears when she is flying because “it’s not my destiny to die listening to a Britney Spears album." HA! We love it.
Hilton believes in some classics. She has said in the past that she "[knocks] on wood if someone says something that I don't want to happen. Or I always make a wish at 11:11."
Why does Tiger Woods wear red on Sundays? His very superstitious mother once told him it is his lucky color... although it has not been in a very long time.
This actor may take the superstituous cake: "I have a weird OCD thing with coffee. I have to have my two Splendas, but the cap has to be measured with the black line in the cup. It's really strange, but I do it every morning. It makes me feel better."
Missy Elliott has a frightening take on certain felines: "If a black cat walks in my path, I will immediately turn around and go home, even if I am on my way somewhere."
Christian Bale does believe in superstitions. But he isn't scared of them: "I walk under ladders, I do all that stuff. I do it on purpose. I like provoking superstitions."
Wait... is she or isn't she? "I knock on wood all day long...constantly," Diaz says. "But I’ve also flown on Friday the 13th in a storm with a black cat on my lap, so I’m not that superstitious."
Kristin Chenoweth doesn't know how Christian Bale does it: "I have a fear of walking under ladders. It's probably because it'd be much easier for me to do so than many people. I also say a prayer right before I got out on stage so that lights never fall on me."
Emma Roberts hears you, Kristin Chenoweth: "Don't walk under ladders. My mom just walked under one yesterday and I was like, 'Oh my God, I can't believe you just did that!' I've never walked under a ladder, ever."
"I come from the theater, and you never say the word Macbeth in the theater," Wilson says. "I believe in that because I said it once and a light fell from the ceiling and crushed my foot."
