Move over, Ray Kaunisto. And make room for Gio Gonzalez.

Back in December, the aforementioned hockey player paid tribute to the iconic comedy Super Troopers by working the word meow into an interview on seven different occasions.
But Washington Nationals starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez went ahead and topped Kaunisto by three (or four, depending on who's counting) cat sounds during an interview with MASN sideline reporter Dan Kolko yesterday.
Based on the reaction of the team's newly-acquired ace, it's pretty clear Max Scherzer was in on this joke.
And, if the network announcers are to be believed, it's possible Gonzalez earned himself at least $1,000 via his awesome antics.
Mad props to the pitcher for keeping a straight face while doing it and also to Kolko, who clearly caught on and yet continued the interview as if everything was totally normal.
