The Bachelor Season 19 is in the books, and ended on a high note for star Chris Soules and fiancee Whitney Bischoff, who seem incredibly happy together.
For some of the other women who competed for his heart, however, the wounds from the combative dating show's latest iteration have yet to heal.
Kelsey Poe, 28, is a guidance counselor. She is also extremely intelligent, articulate and pretty much perfect, if you ask Kelsey Poe. She is also a widow, as her first husband, Sanderson Poe, tragically passed away before she went on the show.
Britt Nilsson, 27, is a waitress. She is alarmingly pretty and gives out free hugs on the street, but is there more to her than meets the eye? Besides the fact that she doesn't shower ... is she being forthright with Chris Soules?
Jillian Anderson, 28, is a news producer. She is jacked out of her mind and kicks ass at any athletic competitions, and has the distinction of having her lady parts covered with a black box even when she's wearing clothes (albeit short ones).
Whitney Bischoff, 29, is a fertility nurse. She literally makes babies for a living, talks like one herself, and gives off the vibe that she would love to start making Chris Soules family members at his earliest convenience.
Carly, 29, is a cruise ship singer who has been pretty sure she's been on the way out for weeks now, yet continues to hang on by a thread. Don't stop believin'!
Jade Roper, 28, is a cosmetics developer who lives in L.A., but grew up in Gering, Nebraska, and also posed for Playboy under the name Jade Elizabeth. Be sure to turn off cookies before you look that up on Google Image search.
Becca, 26, is a chiropractic assistant from San Diego, California, who has never had sexual intercourse. Not even once. Is this the virgin who makes it all the way to the fantasy suite?
Jordan, 24, is a student who got sent home in week two, then stalked Chris in Santa Fe weeks later only to be sent home again. That's a rough stint on a dating show.
The claims, insinuated at times this season and made overtly by Ashley I., at The Women Tell All Special, have Kelsey Poe uttering a lot of four-letter words.
And she's a woman who prefers big words, remember.
Allegations that she somehow exaggerated or fabricated her widow status were "the most painful thing I have ever heard since Sanderson's death," Poe says.
"I am still reeling in shock at the level of nastiness I encountered, or just how far those women will go," the 28-year-old Kelsey added, incredulously.
Poe, whose husband died in 2013, was nicknamed "The Black Widow" on the show and accused of using that tragedy to build a sympathetic storyline.
Her relentlessly upbeat and positive attitude - followed by one very conveniently timed panic attack - was proof she had not experienced such a tragic loss.
At least according to some of her Bachelor competitors.
Kelsey Poe counters, "I wanted to be happy and not the depressing widow, so I put a fake brave face on it, so I wouldn't be the sad one in the room."
"But to be honest, there is no positive way to tell someone you are a widow. Even friends get uncomfortable or any new acquaintance that asks me."
"So I told a sad story with a happy face, which was somewhat of an oxymoron, and left me looking like a bit of a moron," she admits. "It backfired."
"I should have just owned my truth because it is part of who I am."
The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas ... who he ALSO rejected!
DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak ... who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks.
Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her ... on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, and have a beautiful daughter.
Reid Rosenthal left The Bachelorette during the final three, then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart ... only by then she had chosen Ed Swiderski.
Ed too left The Bachelorette, only to return and WIN Jillian Harris' season. His cheating ways soon caught up with him, though. She decided to List It, Not Love It ... see what we did there?!
In Season 14, starring Jake Pavelka, Rozlyn Papa got the boot at a rose ceremony ... after getting a rose! Say what? Yes, she allegedly had a fling with one of The Bachelor staff members.
Ali Fedotowsky also left Jake's season by her own accord, after being told she'd lose her job if she did not do so. Many later felt this was BS as she signed on to star as The Bachelorette right after.
Though he vowed to guard and protect her heart, Kasey Kahl got straight up ditched on a glacier by Ali in a hilarious one-on-one date denial for the ages.
Who could forget Bentley, probably the biggest douchebag in the history of a franchise filled with douchebags. He got the boot from Ashley Hebert, but not a moment too soon.
Ben Flajnik's stunned, bitter reaction to being rejected by Ashley Hebert after he got down on one knee was the most memorable moment of her season. He became The Bachelor; she wed winner J.P. Rosenbaum.
Casey Shteamer got the boot from Ben Flajnik when he felt she was there for the wrong reasons, and his lack of sugar-coating her departure led to some memorable waterworks displays.
It's water under the bridge now for a happily married Sean Lowe (who wed Bachelor winner Catherine Giudici after his season), but his final three dismissal by Emily Maynard - who split from Jef Holm soon after - was a stunner.
Frontrunner Brooks Forester dumped Desiree Hartsock on The Bachelorette's penultimate episode. Somewhat incredibly, a then-clear second choice Chris Siegfried ended up being The One.
Eric Hill's exit from The Bachelorette was all the more shocking considering that he left on less than stellar terms with Andi Dorfman, only to tragically pass away weeks later.
Nick Viall thought he had Andi Dorfman's heart all to himself. He was shocked to learn before he got to the final rose ceremony that she was cutting him loose, and didn't take it well to say the least.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. was eliminated by Emily Maynard on the finale of her season, but what was even more surprising was that he was reportedly told he was The Bachelor in 2015 before producers went with Chris Soules at the last minute.
Jade Roper met Chris Soules' parents, saw his Iowa home, revealed her Playboy past with class, and was looking like the perfect fit for the small-town farmer who wants a wife ... until he eliminated the Nebraskan after a hometown date that seemingly went as well as it could have.
Both Jade Roper and Kaitlyn Bristowe could ride unlikely, emotional eliminations by Chris Soules into a gig as The Bachelorette. Kaitlyn surprisingly got the heave-ho after an overnight date in Bali, leaving Becca Tilley and Whitney Bischoff to fight for the final rose.
"As for the low-life girls on the show, they were far more manipulative and scheming, so I am happy to say I can live with my mistake. It hurt nobody but me."
As for how she's holding up since Chris Soules sent her home?
"I feel I fell back a few months in my progress," she said.
"I thought my heart was ready, but to be honest, I am going to give it a break and focus on other great opportunities I am creating. I am staying positive."
"I'm learning to get back on track as a single lady and having a positive attitude. I hope that maybe, just maybe I will find love again in a true organic manner."
"Sanderson, my husband would want me to find happiness and a new lease on life. That much I know is true. He knew me since we were young."
"He would want me to have that again. But I can tell you this hand on heart, to see what I endured on the show would make him turn in his grave."
"The endless insults from other contestants and the inhumane barrage of insults from so-called Bachelor fans, or bullies I should say, he would never have wanted."
"I had moved on a little since his passing, and to be honest, it is my right to say, because it is my truth, the whole experience set me back months. I feel battered and bruised."
Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just got engaged on The Bachelor season finale in March 2015. It seems like they are still together, as happy as ever and built to last ... but stay tuned.
Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney got engaged, and married, and had a kid! After he dumped his final rose recipient Melissa Rycroft and chose Molly instead ... close enough.
Travis Stork and Sarah Stone broke up before The Bachelor finale and After the Final Rose special even aired. Now that takes decidation to not making it work.
Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter have been together so long, we forget that she was ever not Mrs. Ryan Sutter. They have been married for a decade and have two kids!
Juan Pablo's now-infamous non-proposal made him persona non grata for many fans, but he and winner Nikki Ferrell were together for a good six months before she finally got sick of his crap.
Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray split up after just six months together. Amazingly, they appeared happily together and in love just days before they called it off.
