Last month, the world learned about the existence of the so-called "Bobbi Kristina Brown deathbed photo" - an image of the comatose 22-year-old that was taken in secret by a member of her extended family.
At the time, it was reported that no media outlet would publish the photo out of respect for the 22-year-old's grieving loved ones.
Now that Bobbi Kristina has passed away, however, it seems that the rules have changed, as the National Enquirer has not only published the image, but featured it on the cover of its latest issue:
Thus far, The Enquirer has experienced little backlash for running the photo, possibly because its ghoulishness has been overshadowed by the photo taken at Bobbi Kristina's funeral.
Still, the tabloid may face some legal consequences, as Brown and Houston families have vowed to sue any publication that purchases unauthorized photos of Krissi, particularly those taken in her final days.
As you can see, the cover of the tabloid promises "more chilling photos inside," though as the issue has yet to hit newsstands, there's no confirmation that additional photos of Bobbi Kristina were taken without her family's knowledge.
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown remains a tabloid fixture even in death, as her family is rumored to be fighting over Bobbi Kristina's fortune, and the legal dispute is expected to get very ugly.
