The Bachelorette runner-up Nick Viall is not a fan of Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth. He made this abundantly clear in a new interview.
It's just not because he lost out to Booth, either.
Despite his awkward "love-making" meltdown the previous season, he did not bash Andi Dorfman or Josh Murray after the finale aired.
This summer is a different story. Why?
Unlike with Andi, Viall feels he dodged a bullet with Kaitlyn, who he says changed since she hooked up with Shawn, and not for the better.
Also, he's not a fan of the fact that Kaitlyn actually let Nick go as far as pick out an engagement ring and propose to her on national TV.
That was pretty damn rough (see below).
Moreover, she didn't have the consideration to apologize for that humiliation after the fact ... instead joking about it publicly with Shawn!
"I think it showed a lack of sincerity on her part. It's disappointing. You would hope that Kaitlyn would rub off on Shawn," Nick says.
"But it seems like it might be more the latter."
Ooooh BURN. Nick notes that the jealous and angry Shawn Booth fans saw on The Bachelorette was legit, not a product of creative editing.
"I think he was accurately portrayed, how he handles difficult situations and not getting his way," Viall said of his season-long adversary.
Was she stringing him on the whole time? Are they faking their engagement? Nick says he has no clue ... and zero f--ks to give TBH.
"I really don't know anything about their relationship and how healthy it is right now. I'm just focused on moving forward with my own life."
It's not clear if Nick's comments lend themselves to The Bachelorette conspiracy theory going around ... but they don't run counter to it.
In any case, Viall is probably better off now ... as long as he takes a hint and doesn't try to return to the reality show for a third time in 2016.
Seriously Nick. We feel for you, and see your points about Kaitlyn and Shawn here, but the third time is not the charm in this case.
